Soul Scripting - a written practice of mindfulness and creative flow,
by Gillian Torres
Can you confidently say that you are living a life of your own creation? Consider your relationships, your career, your state of mind... do you feel peace, satisfaction and gratitude when you reflect on these? Most of us could not answer with a confident 'yes' in relation to all aspects of life but that is within our power to change, using the practice of mindfulness, along with a little creativity. We can change our own lives any time we choose and the process can begin with simply picking up a notebook and pen.
A happy, fulfilling life, like a great work of art, music or literature, is brought into being by a creator in full flow. Therefore, it is in all of our interests to make finding and maintaining creative flow a lifelong practice.
What is Soul Scripting?
We don't have to practice for long to see results. I have devised a process called Soul Scripting. It uses simple writing exercises to guide everyone towards a state of creative flow and encourages a practice of mindfulness within that state. Practised regularly, Soul Scripting could help you to stay in flow. Applied to specific areas of intention, it could assist you as you process life's inevitable challenges.
You don't have to be a writer to benefit from Soul Scripting. Every one of us has an inner voice and can use this process to acknowledge that voice, benefiting from its wisdom and insight. If you don't feel that your inner voice has wise insight to offer, then give me a few hours of your time and it a few hours of your attention. You will be amazed.
